I was in need of a nice looking spare bag I could take on a road trip, and I was led to review the BCBGeneration Kai The Byob Cross Body Bag. BYOB Stands for “Bring your own bag” (as far as I could gather…. It could stand for something entirely different!).
This is a cheaper bag so for this review I’m going to just stick to the basics. This bag does what it says and will last you for a few months of heavy use. It’s functional, pretty, and appears to be durable enough to withstand lots of day to day activities. The print on the outside is fashionable and attractive, and the inside liner is not that fancy but looks extremely durable.
This purse comes in caramel, and stone (not pictured) colors
- 100% Polyurethane
- 93% Polyester/7% Cotton lining
- zipper closure
- 24″ shoulder drop
- 6.75″ high
- 9.5″ wide
- Exterior pocket
- Shoulder strap length: 53.25″
This purse is very attractive for the price. It’s not going to last as long as a bag made of higher quality, but you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck with this one. It’s polyurethane, which is definitely not as nice as leather but you won’t have to worry about spilling anything on it.
This isn’t a bulky bag, but it’s not tiny either, there’s plenty of room to carry your essentials.
The strap on this purse is non adjustable, so if you’re really small (5’2″ or under), this might not be a great handbag for you. We’ve reviewed a few others here, and I’m sure you’ll find one that you absolutely love.
This is a great cheap handbag. It’s attractive, stylish, has plenty of room for your stuff. I would buy this bag as a spare, or something I would not mind leaving in my car as a back-up bag. If you’re in the market for a wonderful spare bag, or something to carry around every day and you’re on a budget, this would be a great one for you.
